Case Summary:
Ashley O’Neil was forced to have two painful surgeries when Wellpath and Clark County Detention Center staff refused to take her out of the jail to have post-operative care appointments for her fractured ankle.
Ashley is a former volleyball coach who may not be able to return to the work she loves because Wellpath and Clark County have a policy of denying off-site care to save money.
Wellpath has gotten away with permanently injuring people in order to cut costs for too long. NPAP’s work on behalf of Ashley is part of our work to hold Wellpath accountable.
